(More customer reviews)I love this rotary cutter by Fiskars! It is very comfortable and light weight, has the ability to lock the blade while in use and not in use singlehandedly, other replacement blades can be used with this brand. I have cut through 6 thicknesses of fleece fabric. Great product for the price and highly recommended.

Fiskars 12-97957097 45 mm Stick Rotary Cutter Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I've never used this type of cutter before, so I didn't know what to expect. I make miniature quilts, and cutting small strips and squares is very difficult with scissors. A rotary cutter was recommended to me by my fellow miniaturists, and I found these on Amazon. They work perfectly and make the job much easier. The cuts are clean, sharp and perfectly straight using my cutting mat. Would definitely recommend these to a friend.

Clover Rotary 45mm Cutter Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)As a new quilter I didn't know that most people use Olfa cutters and I bought the Clover. Later I used an Olfa and found that it's not nearly as easy to use, but, of course, people get used to it. The only disadvantage of Clover is that you have to remember to close it up each time so you don't accidentally cut yourself. But I think cutting fabric is hard, and Clover makes it easier.

Fiskars 95237097 3-Piece Quilting Set Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This mat is OK for small quilting pieces. I do not recommend this mat for fashion sewing.
I purchase replacement blades in a retail store when they go on sale for 40% off. The blades are kind of expensive so I recommend treating them with care. Always wipe them clean before you are done using them and put them back in the plastic container so they don't get dinged up.
You can get larger mats in retail stores. I don't recommend ordering large mats because of the oversize shipping charges.

Ek Success EKCB16 13 by 13-Inch Cutter Bee Self-Healing Pink Mat Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I got this mat after I noticed my huge Fiskars mat wasn't healing so well. I needed a smaller one anyway, so I got it and Im very pleased with it. The color is very bright and pretty, it heals very well, and the best feature is that it has tiny measurements. It even has measurements used most often outlined in bold, like 2x3, 3x5, 4x6, etc. I definitely will recommend it to everyone I know. I hope this helps with your decision:)

Fiskars 95217097 45 mm Rotary Cutter Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I had the opportunity to try the Olfa and the Fiskar rotary cutters from a friend who had both. After trying them for about 15 minutes, I decided I preferred the Fiskar cutter. The Olfa was okay and worked well, but the Fiskar cutter felt better ergonomically. The Fiskar handle was curved, sturdier with a better grip. I don't care for the straight cutters. Another friend also preferred the Fiskar cutter. We all decided Fiskar cutter was the best ergonomically, but will probably buy the Olfa blades. I hope this helps for those who may be on the border between the two. I rate it 4 stars because the blade is better on the Olfa.
