(More customer reviews)I chose this T-Square for it's length and the fact that it is aluminum. I did not want a wooden one because those get nicks in the sides easier, and I like using a metal edge when drawing lines. I love that I was able to find a 36" T-Square! I needed something beyond 28" and was amazed to find it!
My only disappointment with this T-Square was that it was measured up to 3" on each side of the head from the edge of the ruler, but no measurements for the ruler itself, and it only went to 3 inches on each side where the head itself extended a hair beyond 3.5 inches. I added little marks at the 3 1/2" marks on each side.
Otherwise, this is a great piece of hardware, but I have to warn that it is aluminum and if you do not take care of it, it can get bent and ruin your day.

Available in lengths from 12" to 36" in standard gauge aluminum with a 1 1/2" shaft. Calibrated in 8ths and 16ths on the blade and in 8ths on the head. T-square head is made from polycarbonate plastic for the greatest durability.
