(More customer reviews)I struggled with this product the first couple of times I used it, but ultimately I have found this to be an EXCELLENT product. Our Isshinryu school requires a very large patch on the front of the uniform, with smaller patches on each shoulder and lower front of gi. I have used this product successfully on four of my own gi's which get VERY sweaty and are frequently washed, and both of my children's uniforms as well. I have also attached all of my son's Royal Rangers scout group patches and badges to his uniform with great success. The oldest karate gi with patch attach is five years old now, and the patches are still holding strong! Here's a suggestion: Follow the directions, use a pre-heated iron on a linnen setting. Apply the heat for about a minute and a half through a wash cloth over the patch. Carefully remove the wash clothe and let the patch cool. Apply the heat again without the washcloth for another 30 seconds and let cool again. Turn garment inside out and apply heat to the back of the patch directly through the opposite side of the garment for another 30 seconds. This method has worked for me EVERY time.
