(More customer reviews)This is a friendly seller but the actual product was really disappointing. I paid close to $30 for the item and when I received it close to Christmas time it was not the product pictured (the image on the side was a quilting square and said Quilt Happy, and I had tried to buy the Sheep image with Knit Happy) and there was not time to fix it. The customer service email returned as undeliverable after 3 attempts. The quality/sturdiness is the issue. This is like a cheap container you could get at a dollar store, not something you pay $30 for, give as a gift and get from a specialty yarn store. Do not let this negatively impact your opinion of the seller, she went out of her way to inform me the item was out of stock and would be delayed and did get it to me by Christmas....it was just the wrong item when it did finally arrive, and again, low quality. Would not buy again or recommend.

The finshed result of this stocking is absolutely beautiful but it probably took me 20+ hours to finish. It is so much more elaborate than the previous stockings that I did for my children. It is worth the time I put into it, but if you order this stocking, allow at least a few weeks to finish it.

(More customer reviews)I was hoping for more. The spools hold very little. Also, they're not machine friendly. This is meant for hand sewn projects. It does offer a good variety of colors. I thought this might be the case and (because of the low cost) bought 2 when I made my original purchase. I sorted the different colors out and 2 of these spools might last me a bit, but still..... I gave it 3 stars because of the variety, and there is that.
I hate to sound so negative but I doubt I would prompt others to buy. For "art projects" it might be OK. But know what you're getting. Also, as I said above, a sewing machine can't use the small spools.

I liked how they folded on themselves to protect the blades and the items in your purse. (not to mention your fingers when rummaging for them) It has rust on the blades and just isn't worth seven bucks in my opinion. Thanks for your time.

I really like it, all my stuff fit in it, but it is thick and requires two hands to pick up. The latches are a bit wimpy too. These two improvements would go a long way to motivating me to buy the new and improved version.
