40 Large Spools Embroidery Threads for Brother Machine - 500 Meters Spools Review

(More customer reviews)The thread ad was a little deceptive. They advertised as thread for Brother machines, which it isn't exactly. They never would give me a definite yes or no on the thread being made for Brother by Brother. I specifically asked them that and they said they had not had any negative responses from Brother owners. That wasn't what the ad stated. It stated thread for Brother machines. The best I could find out was, that it was made in India, but they wouldn't specifically say it was made by Brother for Brother machines. When I received it, at first I was a little disappointed, then I e-mailed them and they told me to give a few spools a try and if I wasn't completely satisfied with it, I could return it and they would refund my money. I thought that was reasonable and gave it a try and it stitched out beautifully. So I thanked them and kept the thread. The only problem was breakage, it seems a little weak, but using a large eyed embroidery needle took care of that.They told me to adjust my tensions on my machine, but I didn't need to touch the tensions by using the larger eyed embroidery needle. Overall, it's basically good thread, beautiful colors and shine to it.

(More customer reviews)Awesome colors and a wide variety. Little dissapointed that there was only 4 blues out of all of the colors. If you have a brother sd200 the disney sewing machine the spools will not fit in the cartridge unless you modify the spools. The base is too large and will not fit unless you cut the plastic ring off the bottom. Not a huge issue for me but it takes a lot of time and energy to modify it. Other then that I am very happy with the quality of the thread and the colors.

Wooly Nylon Thread - 1000m Spools - 50 Colors Available Review

(More customer reviews)I own a Brother 1034D serger, and use it primarily for sewing clothing. I had been looking for wooly nylon thread to use in my machine for sewing t-shirts and baby items such as diapers and layette. I bought the two different kinds I could find locally at my Joann's - the two that were highly recommended and was very disappointed. I could not tension the loopers properly with either, the machine fought and broke needles, snapped threads and chewed away at the seam. I blamed my machine and some error of my own in setting it correctly.
In a last ditch attempt to correct the issue I bought this threadart wooly nylon with some gift cards I had saved. When it arrived I examined it skeptically, it looked a lot like the name brand - just ever so slightly more sturdy. I threaded my machine and gave it a go. Magic!! No issues at all, this wooly nylon creates a beautiful edge. I have used up two of the spools I bought and half of two more. I have not had one thread or needle break! I'm thrilled to have found a brand that works well in my machine and I have ordered more. I'd recommend it to anyone who uses wooly nylon in their serger.

4 X-Large Spools of White Bobbin Thread. These are 60wt 2ply Filament Bobbin Thread. Each spool has 5000 meters of thread on it. This will last you a long long time and you do not need to worry about running out of Bobbin thread while Embroidering. Each spool is brand new and is individually shrink wrapped to prevent damage from dust. Polyester has little or no lint. Hence your machine will run longer between cleanings. This thread is very shiny appearance, thin, lightweight and yet extremely strong. Embroiders love this since it creates a soft backing, even on dense designs. Many machine quilters like using a filament poly thread in the bobbin. Due to it's slick surface, it works well with metallic threads and heavy cotton threads. The slickness of the filament poly thread does not snag or grab the top thread. (More customer reviews)Thread was received promptly and was exactly as described. We haven't used the thread yet, but the variety of colors was one of the biggest reasons for ordering (next to the obvious low price deal), and the colors are vibrant - the photo actually does not do it justice.
We do hemming and alterations for a local boutique, along with the embroidery, and the color palette will greatly improve the chances of matching some of the "unique" colors that are currently in fashion. Thanks for providing a great product for an extremely affordable price.
If the thread performs as well as the supplier, we will definitely be repeat customers.

(More customer reviews)I was skeptical about this set. The title says "Large" spools, and as I've learned in the past, Large usually means tiny little spools that are good for barely one project. Not these!
These threads are beautiful, they sew great (no fraying or breaking!!), and the colors are fantastic! I would recommend them to anybody! They really are large spools... not the huge overlock spools, but nice, thick, healthy amounts of thread. Buy them!
