This suzani fabric is a modern day printed version of an antique Suzani fabric. It is durable and doesn't show dirt. Perfect for upholstery, curtains, drapes, bedding, pillows and other decorative home decor. Originally Suzani fabrics were needlework textiles that were made in towns and villages from Ancient Greece to the Ottoman Empire in cheerful floral fabric motifs. The Suzani fabric was often given to brides for their dowry.
