(More customer reviews)I had purchased these, as I make and sell jewelry and sometimes like to turn beautiful buttons into rings or earrings. The wire cutters I was using are quite nice, but I wanted to save them for cutting head pins, etc. When I saw these, I thought they sounded perfect, as they say they are easy to use and completely remove the shank. Unfortunately I was very unimpressed with the end results; the blade quickly dulls and it leaves little nubs on the back, so I have to spend an extra 20 minutes filing down what it leaves behind. Instead of these, buy a pair of similarly priced wire cutters - you may still have to file the button back, but at least the cutters won't dull after 3 button shanks!
