(More customer reviews)Used half of this to make a quilt for my friend. It was thick enough to feel comfortable and without the quilt feeling cheap. However it is a bit thin for my taste. Still it was easy to sew with on the sewing machine and my friend (whom I made the quilt for) loved it. :)

(More customer reviews)I ordered 2 king size batting. The box came and because I wasn't quite ready to use them I didn't open it. I finally finished my quilt tops and got ready to sandwich them. Was planning to use the long Thanksgiving weekend to start quilting them for Xmas presents. Imagine my dismay when there were crib size battings in the box. I sent an email to the company on Wednesday before Thanksgiving. It is now the Tuesday after and I still haven't heard from them. I had always felt secure ordering from Amazon venders however now I wonder if that is a valid thought. I will never use this vender again and I recommend no one else does either. (More customer reviews)I spent several days searching everywhere in the Portland OR area and even called some shops up in Seattle. I wanted a really fluffy, thick and heavy batting for the new quilt I made. Silk, satin, velvet and lace, it needed something rich inside to match it's outside.
When I found this online, I was worried it wouldn't meet what I wanted. Thankfully, it was about an inch thick, warm and soft. we love it and I will definitely be using it again and again. I just wish it were available in the local Joannes. I just have no patience to wait for it!

These 87.5% cotton/12.5% polymer fibers punched with hundreds of needles through a thin base material to prevent tearing; shifting; migrating or creeping through the cover fabric. Needled cotton's flexibility makes it ideal for both inside and outside use. Fibers are held together without glue so a quilting needle glides easily through the batting. What an incredible difference! I really like the fact that the quilting can be 10 inches apart for larger projects. Will purchase more for future projects.
