(More customer reviews)Of course no one *needs* happy faces on their knitting needles, but these are very cheerful! My 8 year old daughter wanted to learn how to knit like her big sister, but is easily frustrated. I was so happy to find these needles. They look like cats (my daughter's favorite animal) and have a very nice feel--nice and smooth and lightweight. She also liked that they are two different colors.
Tonight she finished her very first project with her trusty needles and couldn't be more proud.
My one complaint is that the faces are already starting to wear away a little, but we'll touch them up with a sharpie. I would still recommend them as part of a nice introduction to knitting.
