Since it is impossible to create a form for everyone I will offer up some tips for using a dress form if an exact fit is really important: Purchase a bra that you already wear and like and a pair of those support-type girdle briefs. Have a friend measure you everywhere (a good sewing book should be helpful with where to measure) and pad the form as needed to match your exact shape. For pads I used nylons and stuffing from a pillow. This creates a true double of your form, and allows you more places to attach pins, since the fabric of the form is a bit difficult to attach pins to. Also, for altering hems or heavy items, you may want to make a few sand bags to place on the legs of the form.
