Vacuum cleaner bags are not something I like to give a whole lot of thought to but when you need them, you need them right away.With all the things I have to do and the all places I have to go, I don't need one more thing to do. I searched for and found, much to my surprise, the kind of vacuum bags that I needed. They arrived promptly and they work just fine. The company sent a nice e-mail asking me if all was well with their product which I appreciated. I would order from them again.

Miele U Bags - AirClean Replacement Vacuum Dustbags Review

(More customer reviews)I have no complaints with the bags. The indicator slide on the front of the vacuum itself doesn't seem to do a real great job at telling me when the bag is full, but it's easy enough to open the front compartment and feel the bag to know if it's getting full or not.
In response to the other review on here that the vacuum isn't that great... I don't find any of the complaints valid except that it isn't great for throw rugs. It does my kitchen and entry way rugs fine since they have rubber backing to hold them in place a little, but my bathroom rugs are not easily cleaned with this. It is not difficult to carry though - you just need to have it upright to lock it in place before lifting it so the head doesn't flop down. It's got a nice handle on the back that works just fine for carrying it up and down stairs and it isn't unusually heavy. I use the hand-held Turbobrush for vacuuming the stairs and think it does a good job. As far as the cord having to be totally undone to get it off the holder - that is incorrect as well. The bottom hook is a swivel so you just turn it down and slide the whole cord off at once.
We bought this from a local shop after checking out several vacuums and it's exactly what we wanted. I'd highly recommend this vacuum - we have kids, 6 cats and a dog and it does an awesome job at keeping up with our filthy floors!

(More customer reviews)I've already reviewed the Miele vacuum cleaner itself, along with the Turbo brush, so I'm a fan of the pricy-but-worth-it-if-you-can-afford-it sucker. If you're reading this, you're probably one too, so I'm not gonna talk about the vacuum cleaner on a net page selling the bags. I'm just going to relate information on the box about what Miele vacuums this goes with, on the theory that's the main question you have. It's not entertaining, but perhaps it's useful:

The box comes with 5 bags (they;re strong, I've discovered), 1 dust compartment filter, and one "super air clean filter." Miele uses a HEPA filter, known for its allegy protection. Long-lasting, worth it.

We live on all tile floors with 10 dogs and a few cats, so everyday I vacuum up a ton of animal hair, and I go through vacuum bags quite frequently. I'm not paying $19 for four bags, that's ridiculous! I e-mailed Miele, they told me about how much better filtration the new bags afforded. I explained that filtration quality means nothing when cleaning very coarse animal hair. I'm not living in a "clean Room" at Intel!
I noticed that Bosch has also raised their cannister bag prices, so maybe it's a German thing. I started buying generic "FJM" 5 bags for $10 from Amazon, which work just fine. These cheap bags have a cardboard connection at top, instead of plastic, but doesn't matter. So I'm happy now. I'm not paying $5 per Miele bag!
