However I was determined to finish this cross stitch, as I LOVE mermaids. I had to order another kit to complete this one, doubling the price. I researched and found that Dimensions brand is notorious for this problem. I will not be buying Dimensions brand again!

seen these products online though. But the quallity is out standing in everyway. We enjoy doing grateful dead
designs and have pictures available online if you might like to see them? The grateful dead "Uncle Sam" is on
two levi jackets back sides and a "Bleeding Skull" is on the back of a levi shirt. This product is highly

A good spot lamp and shorter sewing sessions worked well. The kit was great and once framed it made a great addition to my g-son's room.

The tree does get a little tiresome, there are so many different shades of brown and grey, but worth it. The chart was large and easy to read and the colors were easily separated as the chart showed which bundle and how many strands each color was in. Great project.

(More customer reviews)If you're not a dyed-in-the-wool cross-stitcher, this is for you! Most of the piece is already beautifully painted in soft colors. The areas that you stitch are marked, you do not have to count anything. As a long-time stitcher I felt I could have done with more stitch detail, (i.e.- it was very easy to work!) but I can add colors and do some additional stitching on it but it is not necessary, it is a beautiful piece just as is. This would be awesome on a little girl's bedroom wall! And the adorable girl on it is just darling, a real cutie. I enjoyed stitching this, enjoyed giving it to our 4-year old grand daughter, and love seeing it in her room as a reminder Grandma's always thinking of her. Very very cute. You could frame it in almost any soft color and it will look perfect.

The only negative thing I can say is that it won't do really thick materials because it won't fit under the arm. But since I didn't expect that considering the cost, I won't let it affect the 5-star rating.
