(More customer reviews)Coats & Clark Surelock is an okay thread. It is inexpensive and strong. Beige color is one of the colors I use most as it blends well. I often use it as a bottom bobbin thread in my machine because it is cheap, using a more expensive better thread as my top thread.However, I much prefer Maxi Lock thread for this purpose. Coat & Clark thread leaves a lot more fuzz in my machine, and this requires the machine to have much more frequent cleanings. For fine work when the thread is visible (such as top quilting or embroidery) this thread does not leave as smooth of a look as some other threads.
