It's size is adequate for ironing my shirts pant's etc. It's handy and doesnt take much space, I can place it inside my closet, and also take it with me on my trips.I really recommend this item to anyone interested in saving space while doing your job!

Great for areas with limited space, this mini tabletop ironing board can be used on the floor, on the bed--just about anywhere. It comes equipped with a steel mesh board surface, a thick fiber pad, and a cotton canvas tan cover. The combination of the pad and the cover ensures a resilient matte-free ironing surface. In addition, a sliding pull-out chrome tray at the end of the board provides a place to rest the hot iron when ironing. The board's steel-chromed tube-stand base allows for placing it on any surface, plus it folds flat for space-efficient storage. Even more, its over-the-door hook allows for hanging the board out of sight and out of the way. The tabletop ironing board measures 31-3/4 by 12 by 5 inches.

This item is compact without the space consuming problems associated with ironing boards. All that's needed for setup is a surface approx 2'x 3' upon which to place it. Storage is easy using the built-in hanger to hang in a closet or it can be stood on end taking up little space. It has no legs to open, close and trip over. It is just a compact unit that you flip over if you need different surfaces.
Numerous measurements are printed on the cover to aid the sewer. One side is rectangular to facilitate large pieces of fabric. The other side has smaller shapes for pressing sleeves and pants. There is also a metal holder that pulls out to hold the iron so no board space is lost to a sitting iron.
