(More customer reviews)An excellent pattern! Not perhaps absolutley historicaly acurate, but fun to make and fun to wear. Some of the instructions need a little "tweaking" as they they are a little vague, but if you have made garments before, especially of this type then your natural "know how" will guide you. The over-all fit of the pattern is fabulous. Very full but at the same time flattering. Some of the houppeland patterns I've tried before leave me feeling I'm wearing the curtains! I enjoyed making it so much that I have made two, one in a simpler, ligher noil silk that I can wear on a daily basis, it makes an excellent bath robe with a twist!
