(More customer reviews)This is another high-quality product from ArtBin. I had to purchase it because my current ArtBin is far too large to carry to class. It has adjustable size compartments, but only a few. On the top shelf, only the teeny tiny compartments are able to be subdivided, begging the question, "What would possibly fit in there? An acorn?" On the second tray, only a few of the medium compartments can be subdivided. The lower compartment is quite roomy, and can fit those normal-sized items that will not fit in the acorn-sized compartments. It would also fit a larger item, such as a can of spray fixative.
What was slightly disappointing is that you cannot completely rearrange the interior to fit new pencils, which is what needed to fit in here the most. However, the compartments are a good size for paint tubes, as demonstrated in the image. Also for linoleum cutters and such.
The latch seems secure, but I have not yet put it through the rigorous testing of accidentally dropping it down a staircase, which is bound to happen. It is much sturdier-feeling than my previous ArtBin's latch, which snapped about a year into ownership. This one does not feel as if it will do that.
