I bought it for storing the pins I get from store-bought clothes, so this review is from your average guy and not a quilter or tailor.
Since this is bigger than the classic size, it'll hold a ton more pins and/or needles. Assuming I don't lose it, I'll wager this'll be the last pin cushion I'll ever need to buy. And because of this foreseen longevity, I bumped the rating from a 4 to a 5.
The design is simple and has been tested by time. You really can't go wrong.
