(More customer reviews)It is a great kit for beginners. My girls (ages 7 and 4) really liked it and did surprisingly good at sewing. The only complaint I have, and this is the reason I rated it 4 stars instead of 5, is that the paint comes off the plastic mesh pretty easily. After holding the mesh for a while you notice that the paint is on your fingers and of course it becomes hard to see where the colors go.
Overall a good kit for the money. After my daughters finished the ponies I ordered the butterfly and the flower from the same manufacturer. They are so excited to do needlepoint again.
