(More customer reviews)The BLACK dress form arrived today in record time. Amazon.com's box was in perfect condition with some paper packing around the manufacturer's torn and punctured box. The dress form was just as expected in size and details. The pole, however, will not stand on the base. One end of the pole is dented slightly but may never have been the right size to fit over the base protrusion. The base has concentric circular scratches in it's paint (..."new"?). I haven't decided yet whether to keep or return the dress form. It would take some extra purchases and jerry-rigging to make the form stand up. It was advertised as a standing form but is currently only useable as a table top mannequin. Obviously, I'm disappointed with the base-stand connection.
