(More customer reviews)I applied only one star to this Janome sewing machine at this time because my gifted wife has not had the opportunity to put it through it's paces. I do regret that I did not read the numerous reviews on this item before purchasing it, or I may have passed on buying this model. I hope her and I are not dissapointed and she is able to enjoy it effortlessly for years to come. READ REVIEWS BEFORE PURCHASING so as to be able to make a more informed decision. I will say on the "JANOME" companies behalf that when they no longer had the model I purchased, the "4400", they shipped out immediately a much newer model the "4900". I will have my wife present a more detaied review at a later date when she's had the time to use the machine. jerry
