(More customer reviews)The classic tomato/strawberry-shaped pin cushion. Other than size, pretty much identical to the one my mother had for decades.
I bought it for storing the pins I get from store-bought clothes, so this review is from your average guy and not a quilter or tailor.
Since this is bigger than the classic size, it'll hold a ton more pins and/or needles. Assuming I don't lose it, I'll wager this'll be the last pin cushion I'll ever need to buy. And because of this foreseen longevity, I bumped the rating from a 4 to a 5.
The design is simple and has been tested by time. You really can't go wrong.

(More customer reviews)This pin cushion is great for keeping different types of pins separated. The down side is that it is thin and the pins stick out of the bottom of the cushion. If you keep it on a piece of carpet, this works very well but on a hard surface, it slides around and pricks your fingers when picked up. Otherwise, it is an excellent pin cushion and I enjoy the color and organization.

Clover Double Needle Threader Review

Clover Flower Head Pins-Fine Card, 20 ea. Review

(More customer reviews)I bought a pack of 20, 38mm pins, along with a book and two pairs of scissors. The 50mmx60mmx4mm pin package came wrapped in a unusually bulky, laptopsize package, including a pretty heavy, unsolicited catalog of wastewater testing electronic instruments (!!??), spam that ended costing almost 12 times the cost of the pins, and 6 times the cost of the goods. Besides, they wouldn't send it all in one package, they had to send three (yes, 3!) different dispatches. I guess that if I could buy a car in Amazon they'd send dozens of bulky packages to deliver the rivets and washers in separate wrappings. By the tme I can assemble all of it into a moving vehicle I'd be broke. Is Amazon's management aware of the huge ecological footprint this porocedure takes in terms of fuelwaste, labor hours, filling wrappings, energy consumption? not to mention extra costs for the customer. Conclusion:
1.- Is it that Amazon is partnering with Fedex?
2.- As I am truly discontent after this, my second purchase, I wont be easily persuaded to use Amazon's services anymore.

It was nice, but very small. Anyway, I can't find it so I ordered this one. This one is HUGE. This is the real deal, this is something you can attach to a table and hold your cloth and pins, and you can also display it. It's big enough to be seen and brass has a nice color to it. It weighs a bit, too. I'm delighted!
