(More customer reviews)While this is OK, for $10 I expected a needle case with a top flap to cover the other ends and keep them from sliding out. I could fold the top down, but then the height of the case would be too short for anything other than shorter dp needles. Also the closing ribbon/velcro is not attacheded to the case so it's easily lost; and the closing ribbon/velcro probably should be elasticized to hold everything together a bit better. Time to make my own.

For sale is a handmade knitting needle case (Size 21"x13"). The case is custom made to fit our double point bamboo knitting needles with lengths from 5" to 9". It has 14 slots to hold needle sizes varying from US 1-15 (Metric 2.25-10mm). The case is made with soft yet strong material and can be folded into a compact roll. A yellow Velcro strap is provided to tie the roll. The picture shows both flat and compact form of the case. Needles are not included.

I was really disappointed, and really hoping for something bigger. The item itself is of high quality, thus I'm not giving it a low rating. It's cute and works well for storing crochet hooks and other small crafting bits. I'll definitely get lots of use out of it, even if it's not the use I was hoping for.

(More customer reviews)I got one of these for my birthday. Everything is great except for the counter, which doesn't work properly. Someone else commented on the same issue. I emailed Knit Kit to tell them the counter was broken and they're sending a replacement. Great customer service! I especially like the stitch counters and needle tips. So soft, but seem durable. I love that the crochet hook has two sizes to it. And the tape measure is nice and long.
Great travel kit or even just a great way to keep all your stuff together in one spot.

Namaste Oh Snap Set of 3 Mesh Craft Sewing Knitting Bags Review

(More customer reviews)I really like the Oh Snap bags by Namaste because they are neat, durable, and I can see at a glance what's inside each one. Prior to getting them, my projects and tools were in all kinds of bags, all over the house. I'd be out somewhere and, because I'd forgotten some crucial element of the project I'd be unable to knit at all. Now, I have all my tools in the smallest bag and each project in a larger one. When I have plans to knit away from home, all I have to grab is the tool bag and a project bag--for me, it's an organizational breakthrough.
The bags are sold in a three-bag set and a two-bag set. The first includes a small size--comparable to the old-fashioned zippered pencil pouches that we used in school--and two others that are suitable for small projects like hats, mittens, or baby duds. The two-bag set is more usable for adult garments. The snap sets are strong and, unlike zippers, will not catch on threads or damage your knitting.
Of course, this manner of organization for hobby projects can also be accomplished with less expensive, plastic food bags and I've gone that route too. I've found that needles often work holes in the plastic, that the sliders seldom last very long, and worst yet, the bags tend to hold air and take up too much space in my tote (prior to sustaining needle holes or fastener malfunctions, that is.) I think the people at Namaste have really got it right with the Oh Snap Bags.
