I have used it almost every day for about two weeks, the light is still just as bright as the first day, with the same batteries. This light is very portable and great for reading in a car or plane. I recommend this light to anyone.

Carolina Cottage Hudson Rocker Review

(More customer reviews)Read the dimensions carefully. This is the second rocking chair that I have bought. The first one was more comfortable, but its seat was made up of springs, fastened with large staples. They started coming loose during the first two weeks. I'm 5'7 and weigh 170. Yes, I'm overweight. With this chair, I have about 3 1/2" of space left. The length of the seat supports me only about half way up my thighs. The seat cushion I placed on it hangs 2 1/2" inches over the front of the seat. My back is not shaped like the back of the chair, either. So I added a back cushion, which just makes my legs hang over even more. I found out today that unless I exert a lot of effort, the chair won't rock back. (I haven't been home in while.) What I'm saying is that manufacturers are doing a poor job of telling people what sizes their chairs will support. If you have short legs and a butt of no more than 36" and weigh no more than 150, then this might be your chair. It is beautiful, but impractical for most people.

I would recommend them - especially for an easy insert for a crib bumper. The alternative of stuffing your own did not sound very fun to me.

I own lots and lots of sewing books (yes I have addiction ha) and this one was full of innovative, new ideas that weren't so involved you would have to be a master to do any of them, but at the same time were not so simple you felt like your intelligence was belittled just by looking at it. ha. make sense?
Anyway...these projects are truly darling and every single one made me sigh with how sweet it was. Beyond that, they really would appeal to children, I am a mum of a four, two and 13 week old, and I know that each of these would hold their attention and bring delight to their little selves.

(More customer reviews)We use the Halo Swaddle on our little guy and it seems to really make a difference in how calm he is when he goes to sleep. When we put him in it he seems to just feel more secure! He is sleeping better these days too. I read all of the reviews and was a little worried about the concerns that some people had...like the fabric bunching up around the baby's face...I did a bit of research and found some really great news. Seems that Halo changed this product over a year ago by adding some loops in front that prevent the swaddle from sliding up. We've been using this swaddle for a few months now and haven't had ANY problems at all. If I could change anything it would be to make it a little larger and have less Velcro...sticks to my bras in the laundry...but it does keep my little guy secure!

(More customer reviews)I bought this book one month ago and the first thing I did was read all the intro stuff about supplies, rotary cutting, etc. After looking at all the patterns and pictures, I knew I had the courage to break away from the normal pastel, pale baby quilts that the ladies of my family produce and that's just what I did. I bought a bunch of supplies and fabric for my first two quilts. The first one took 4.5 hours, and that included machine quilting it (noone in my family does that) and binding it (instead of turning it out like most of my family does). I was thrilled. The next (which was bigger) took about 6.5 hours. They were bright and bold and I've never been more excited about anything. If I (and all I know about sewing is how to do the basics for mending and such) can take this book and make two quilts in 11 hours, anyone can do it! The third, which I doubled the pattern for a toddler, took about 20 hours and I love it! This book is the best!! And I bought another one of hers, too.

(More customer reviews)I have been cloth diapering for 2 years, and currently have two in cloth. I have tried many types of patterns, both free and purchased, for fleece soakers and pants. This is BY FAR my favorite. I love that all the sizes are clearly included in one pattern, so I can make these pants for both of my children. I personally have some with the moon booty and some without. I also have altered it for board shorties, added cuffs on the legs, and put an internal soaker inside, by making an additional pair of shorts and attaching it to the pants by the waistband with wrong sides together. These fit both of my children (a girl and boy) wonderfully, and the pattern was an excellent value with nice instructions. I have also emailed the pattern creator for additional questions and recommendations on another pattern she made, and she is most pleasant and helpful. I highly recommend this pattern!

I have a little trouble understanding the instructions once in awhile, but that's because I'm a novice at this stuff. I definitly recommend this pattern, and I intend to use the Jack-O-Lantern this year, and possibly the Crab or Alien next year or for my next child.

Little Starter Cloth Diaper Pattern Review

(More customer reviews)I've only ever sewn the diaper covers from this pattern so far, but I love them! They have gussets, which is totally the trick for containing b/f poop. We've yet to have anything escape :)
They are easy to sew and look great - and best of all they're super quick! I especially like the umbilical cord scoop on the n/b diapers. It doesn't need to snap down or anything, the pattern has been very cleverly designed so it sits nicely under the belly button. I love the idea of putting the PUL on the inside and a print on the outside - it means I have bright and colorful covers with a little more excitement than plain fabrite colors.
