Realizing that the problem was in the needles which I had been using, I searched for better ones. My research revealed that gold-eyed or plated needles slide into and out of fabric much easier than other needles. Thus, I searched my go-to sight (Amazon) and found these Clover Gold Eye Embroidery needles. These needles ARE SO MUCH EASIER TO USE, and don't cause hand and finger fatigue!
