(More customer reviews)I just purchased the Mini Iron from Clover. I like to sew pocketbooks and found that it was helpful to be able to press a seam open that was in an area too small for my iron. I am able to press my own bias tape also. This iron will get very hot so you need to test the fabric so that you wont scorch it. But this is a good thing. Better than not getting hot enough. The stand that comes with it seems to hold the iron away from my table and I have not had difficulties with burning my hand or fingers. It does take a little while to heat up, so plan accordingly. I am sure I will find more uses for this little iron as time goes on. I enjoy not getting steam burns while pressing tape.
