(More customer reviews)I owned one of these for about 10 years until I dropped it recently and shattered the plastic. The incredibly strong magnet inside was donated to my son's science class, and I immediately ordered another Grabbit for myself. The magnet is SOOOO strong it literally grabs the pins out of midair as you toss them toward the unit, and slams them onto the concave surface! It's hard plastic, and it holds a bunch of pins! You can even sweep this over the floor upside down and it will pull pins off the floor onto the surface.
So in summary, this is VERY effective and very strong. It will last for many years (unless you drop it!).
