(More customer reviews)This is a very finely illustrated kit on the wonderful art of crochet for beginners.The kit contains good quality yarn,a plastic needle,2 plastic crochet hooks and a cute pink book with very lucid, clearly detailed, simple-to-follow style of instructions( another separate set of instructions included for the left-hander as well!) The best part about the kit is the package contains enough materials for two kids to share and the projects- coasters, belt or purse are so much fun to make!I would use my own metal crochet hooks though, instead of the fragile looking plastic hooks provided. I have little crochet experience, but I was making fancy circles and single/double crochets in no time,with the excellent instructions that achieve the clarity that you would find possible only with a crochet video. I would say well worth the price- for hours of fun and a sense of fulfilment that the simple projects outlined will bring.Five stars, without any reservation!
