Not for the sewing novice but good research. Wish the illustrations weren't so simple but conveys what is needed.
My main complaint, though I think it is Amazon's end, is how it was shipped. I had ordered patterns (Past Patterns) and received all of them in a shipping envelope with the 16th cent. Reconstructing History pattern folded around the other patterns. Thus I had a bend in the instructions and the historic research pages. Fortunately I was able to iron the pages flat otherwise I would be requesting a replacement.
