(More customer reviews)I own a Brother 1034D serger, and use it primarily for sewing clothing. I had been looking for wooly nylon thread to use in my machine for sewing t-shirts and baby items such as diapers and layette. I bought the two different kinds I could find locally at my Joann's - the two that were highly recommended and was very disappointed. I could not tension the loopers properly with either, the machine fought and broke needles, snapped threads and chewed away at the seam. I blamed my machine and some error of my own in setting it correctly.
In a last ditch attempt to correct the issue I bought this threadart wooly nylon with some gift cards I had saved. When it arrived I examined it skeptically, it looked a lot like the name brand - just ever so slightly more sturdy. I threaded my machine and gave it a go. Magic!! No issues at all, this wooly nylon creates a beautiful edge. I have used up two of the spools I bought and half of two more. I have not had one thread or needle break! I'm thrilled to have found a brand that works well in my machine and I have ordered more. I'd recommend it to anyone who uses wooly nylon in their serger.
