(More customer reviews)It's 16 inches wide and the suction reaches to the edges. It covers a lot of area fast. I also bought the 10ft hose extension to add to the current hose. I hardly have to move the vacuum(miele Eclipse) in each room. It's like having a central vac. This attachment is a must have in my book. My only complaint with Miele is that the smaller Parquet twister attachment should come with their vacuums. But being a guy I recommend the bigger one.
