(More customer reviews)This is an example of user ignorance (not product problems). The foot looked like what we needed for our sewing machine, and my wife swore that it was the one she needed. However, when we got the item, it didn't work on her machine.
Shipping on it was so expensive, it wouldn't have been worth our effort to return the product. We were stuck with something we can't use.
But it wasn't the fault of the seller -- it was our own ignorance.
We finally travelled to a city where they sold the feet, and got a salesman to help us find what we needed.

Sullivans Fix-A-Zip Universal Repair Kit- Review

(More customer reviews)When I attempted to clamp this on my ironing board, I found it wouldn't open wide enough to fit. On further inspection, it became obvious that this is just a poorly designed product. The clamp mechanism isn't long enough to grip on anything deeper than a piece of paper.

Sew Liberated Patterns-Emmeline Apron Pattern Review

(More customer reviews)I looked at apron patterns from all of the standard companies (Simplicity, McCall's, etc.) and didn't find anything nearly as cute as this one. Not only does the apron turn out to be absolutely adorable with the added bonus of being reversible, but it's also incredibly easy to make with clear instructions. Took me less than a day to whip this one up. As I'm completely average-sized (height-, bust-, and weight-wise) it fit perfectly so the one size fits all sizing wasn't an issue for me, but I wonder how well it would accommodate other sizes, especially in the bust area. The only negative I see is the amount of fabric required. I didn't bother to cut the straps and accent strips on the bias since I was using a plain-colored fabric so I wound up using only about a yard of that. I do, however, wish there were an option to make the apron one-sided for gifts for friends I don't care that much about. That said, I'm sure I'll be reusing this pattern over and over to make presents.

(More customer reviews)It's a strip of velcro, one side of the strip is loop and the other side is hook. It's not the same as the stick-on strips, this has special uses, like tie-down straps. You can use it as a belt I guess, hehe.

(More customer reviews)I purchased 3 rolls of this. when filling my order shipper saw 3, and then looked at the package and saw 3 yard, so they assumed I bought just 1. They filled out the invoice so that they shipped 3 of 3. I was charged for 3 rolls "of course" paying $41 for one roll! Shipper will not return my calls or respond to my e-mail. All they would have to do is check inventory, and maybe make a phone call regarding my order to sales.

Ott-Lite F48LU8 High Definition Desk Lamp, Blue Review

(More customer reviews)I spotted this lamp at an office store but found it on Amazon for a lower price. The Ott-Lite is a really attractive and functional lamp. I put it next to my computer and it doesn't "glare" but provides clear lighting. The sculpted, inflexible design prevents the bulb from shining in your face. Some task lights have a tendency to target you with their glaring bulbs or produce heat which does not contribute to serenity in the cubicle. This lamp frees one from such constraints. I pop it on first thing and it makes colors look brighter, letters more clear and reduces eye strain. Maybe it's the way the bulb is designed but it's very soothing to be around the light and it's very modern and futuristic looking with the smooth flowing lines. I look forward to it being offered in some of the other colors on Amazon!
