(More customer reviews)I bought this for my elderly mother who has macular degeneration. The base is very stable, the arm moves easily, the light is bright and the lens is large enough to be useful. Much more practical design than a clamp on lamp for use at her desk or table. The light bulb is much brighter and sharper than the LED type lamps I looked at.
