(More customer reviews)I have not been able to find the 1.5" width Stitch Witchery iron-on fusible bonding web in the local fabric stores for a long time and thankfully, I found it on Amazon. I am older and can no longer see so well to machine stitch on my sewing machine and the 1.5" width is perfect for bonding hems on simple curtains. I use the smaller 5/8" width Stitch Witchery on the sides, and the 1.5" width for the bottom hem and top hem rod pocket, using only one line of machine stitching at top to create the rod pocket. The reason I prefer the 1.5" width on top and bottom hems is because I create a 1.5" hem by folding over 3" and then tucking 1.5" of that underneath to create a no-see thru hem. The fusible web lends a stiffness to the bottom hems enabling perfect gathering folds. My Stitch Witchery-created cafe curtains look FAR nicer than anything I could have sewn. With my most recent purchase, I created a pleated valance for a small window, using NO machine stitching and it looks fabulous. I am very happy with this product and hope that Dritz has no plans to discontinue the 1.5 width.
