(More customer reviews)I have VERY strong nails, and so far the Fiskars scissors, made in Finnland were the only scissors that could take care of them. Generally, these are made to last a lifetime, the plastic handle is simple, functional. Usually the finish of both handle and metal is perfect - but it was not the case this time. When I opened the packaging, I thought there was a mistake. Although the color of the plastic was the same, the action of the scissors were also the "usual", the finish is more akin to a really cheap scissors. This is why i took away one star, and gave four because it works flawlessly.
If you want a really good little scissors that your child will still be able to use, then this is the one.
