Machingers Gloves-Small/Medium Review

I just got a pair of these machine quilter's gloves, and I love using them! They give me that grip, needed, to
push the layers of fabric through the machine, in order to quilt all 3 layers. No dry skin, no slipping, you get a good grip with these, and they are lightweight material, so, you hands don't perspire, while quilting in hot weather.
I want to get another pair, asap, just in case.
One thing, these are not machine washable, nor can you put them in a dryer. Hand wash, only. Not a big deal, really.
I recommend these, for any machine quilters, who are tired of their fingers slipping, or tired of having aching muscles, from
getting the fabric through the machine.

Microplane 34007 Cut-Resistant Glove Review

Microplane 34007 Cut-Resistant Glove

I too bought this glove to use with my mandoline slicer, but now that I have it I use it with my microplane and other food graters as well. I thought it might be a bit cumbersome, but it's not at all. I think it's important to remember that this glove is cut RESISTANT, not cut proof.
The glove fits my hand very well, but I can see that it might be too small for others. I normally wear a woman's size small glove. This microplane glove is quite flexible though, and I'm certain it would easily fit a woman's size medium or even large. One man's review here indicates he struggled but managed to get it on his bigger hand. I agree there should be one or two other size options, and this is the only reason I didn't give this a 5-star rating.
It goes without saying that the glove will need cleaning after using it to hold food against a slicer or grater. It is machine washable, but not machine dryable. Here's what I do to clean the glove in between machines washings ==> with the glove still on my hand, I squeeze some liquid soap onto the fingertips of the glove and then wash it under warm running water with the help of a small kitchen cleaning brush. With the glove still on my hand, I give it a rinse, blot most of the water off with a hand towel, then let it air dry. I've had no problem with lingering odors using this or the machine method of washing.

Therapeutic Craft Gloves Review

I only gave this product one star because the review wasn't accepted without one. Incredibly poor construction. I'm not much of a seamstress but I would never let anyone see this. The seams don't line up. The hand fabric is flimsy. The finger holes are cut off with no finishing. Besides the thumb hole, there are only three finger holes. The two middle fingers fit through the same opening. The fabric stretch is enough to reduce circulation but there is no support here to relieve arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome or anything else it advertises. I just threw it away. Instead I'm using a Creative Comfort glove by Dritz that I bought at the local fabric shop. By the way, I did not purchase this for sewing or crafts but for wrist fatigue and to avoid carpal tunnel from extended computer use.
