wouldn't think that this would magnify objects close enough to get the job done but it exceeded my expectations. The flexible gooseneck can be clamped down to a surface or mounted
on a weighted base that can be moved around - either way you will love this!! A smaller magnifier window is also available for even closer magnification when more detail is needed.
A very good price and well worth the wait (which wasn't long at all) in my experience.

This is a petite small magnifying lamp. It will not take up much space on your desk.It comes with a weighted v shaped desk mount or it comes with a spring loaded clamp for attaching just about anywhere.This lamp is very stable and with its flexible neck can be positioned just about anyway you need it.It stands at about 12" and the base is 7" x 6 1/2". The lens is 3 1/2" and has a 3x power. It has a small spot on the lense that boosts the magnifying power up to 5x for very small detail such as coins or stamps.Uses LR 1130 batteries and they are included.
