If you have decided to make the foray into sewing your own corset, Truly Victorian 110 is the pattern for you. We have made other patterns, but this one is the easiest, the most flattering and least confusing. Heather has taken the time to make sure it fits and flatters every figure. The sizes range from small to very large. Even though I don't have much of a waist, this particular corset pattern makes that, by the time I am properly tied in, I am fully satisfied with my silhouette.
A friend of ours informed me that her daughter feels so much prettier when she is wearing her TV110 corset. It not only gives her a small waist, prettier figure, but it even gives her the confidence that every lovely Victorian or Steampunk young lady needs.
This is the BEST CORSET PATTERN around.

Sewing Pattern to make a 1880 Late Victorian Corset in sizes 32-58: bust, cup sizes AA to DD. This corset pattern is taken from an original pattern found in the May 31, 1886 issue of De Gracieuce, a Dutch magazine similar to Harpers Bazzar. It was published in several other magazines of the time as well, including La Mode Illustre and Harpers Bazzar. This pattern has been modified slightly to accommodate the different cup sizes and modern body types, but retains most of the original proportions and elegance of the original garment. This corset has 6 panels, a center front busk, and laces in the center back. Recommended fabrics: Twill, coutil, canvas, drill, etc. Notions: Corset Busk (14" long), 6 yard corset string, 1 package extra wide double fold bias tape to match fabric (very large sizes will need 2 packages, grommets (00 size works best), 12-28 white steel or spiral steel stays, depending on size.
